This reinstatement project with Sutton High School looked at external works to the school building with repairs required due to extended damage, with a large crack showing, on the outside of the brickwork.
During the works carried out Helical bars (stainless steel rods to strengthen masonry walls) were installed to reinforce the brickwork and to tie it together as well as to repair the cracked brickwork itself of the external building.
The essential works reinstated the building to provide a safe and structurally sound state, free from damage and reinforced for a robust, restored, successful outcome and minimising any future prevention of further cracking.
